In the crisp October air of 2020, a magical love story began the tale of Shevion and Iliyaas, two souls destined to find each other in the most unexpected of ways. What started as a quick connection because of their shared love of Shevi’s aunt’s Guyanese food soon blossomed into a romance for the ages, as destiny intertwined their paths in an extraordinary way.
Their first date took them to Lemongrass, where they bonded over their mutual love of food before enjoying a romantic stroll through Brooklyn Bridge Park. Sharing ice cream as they walked hand in hand, their hearts knew that this was the beginning of something special. That night, their souls danced in harmony, igniting a flame that would forever bind them together two kindred spirits drawn by a mutual love for each other and a shared thirst for adventure.

Since then, their love has continued to grow, taking them on extraordinary adventures. From an exhilarating helicopter ride over the Cayman Islands to camping in a treehouse cabin in Antigua, Guatemala with views of the volcanoes, to an intimate fairytale engagement in Bali. Their journey has been nothing short of magical. Now, on February 14th, a day dedicated to love, they will seal their devotion to each other in matrimony.
